Lehtikaali kasvoi hyvin takapihalla, joten jotain piti kehitellä siitä. Ja senhän voi käyttää vähän kuin pinaatin tällaisen curryyn. Eli lehtikaali blenderissä soseeksi tällä kertaa ja tällainen ”kermainen” kikhernecurry saatiin kasaan. Tuli jopa yllättävän hyvää omasta mielestä.

– Prep: pilko sipuli ja valkosipuli
– Prep: pilko lehtikaali, itsellä oli varret sen verran hentoja, että ne meni mukaan. Ota erikseen pari desiä pilkottuja lehtikaalin lehtiä
– Prep: sekoita pähkinät, kauramaito, ravintohiiva ja tomaattipyre
– Pistä riisi kiehumaan
– Paista sipulia muutama minuutti öljyssä
– Lisää valkosipulija inkivääri ja paista pari minuuttia lisää
– Lisää seuraavaksi jeera, garam masala, korianteri, kurkuma ja chili ja paista taas minuutti lisää
– Lisää lehtikaali (ei sitä erikseen otettua paria desiä), sekoita ja paista pari minuuttia taas lisää
– Lisää vesi ja kiehauta
– Pistä paisto blenderiin ja lisää myös cashew-seos
– Blendaa tasaiseksi, varo ettet pyöräytä seosta pitkin seiniä (lähellä oli itselle)
– Kaada seos takaisin pannulle ja keittele muutama minuutti
– Lisää sitten valutetut kikherneet ja keittele taas muutama minuutti
– Lopuksi lisää talteen otettu lehtikaalisilppu ja mausta suolalla ja pippurilla
– Anna porista vielä muutama minuutti
– Nyt riisinkin pitäisi olla valmista
